Welcome to Barisan Gold CorporationBarisan Gold (TSX-V: BG) is actively exploring through drilling the Upper Tengkereng copper-gold porphyry prospect located on the island of Sumatra in the Province of Aceh province in Indonesia. To date, over 10,000 meters of drilling has been conducted at Upper Tengkereng. Drilling continues with two rigs on site and assay results are expected to be released every few weeks. Results so far have delineated a porphyry target that is 500x500m wide, starts from surface and reaches depths in excess of 1,000 meters.
The Upper Tengkereng is one of seven porphyry prospects identified at surface on Barisan Gold's 90,000 hectares of exploration tenements on the Barisan porphyry belt, which also includes the 470,000-ounce Abong epithermal gold deposit. The company is working towards releasing a maiden NI 43-101 compliant resource for the Upper Tengkereng prospect by the end of 2015.
